In 2006, Andrea Bonaveri crafted this unique colour, inspired by the rich history of the family’s hometown crest of Ferrara and by scientific research showing that our brains perceive red more quickly than other colours. Originally, this striking colour was designed for the archival Schläppi 1968 ‘Giant Hand,’ positioned in the gardens of the Bonaveri factory. He wanted this single red element to stand out and draw attention, welcoming guests as they arrived.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn 2025, we launched ‘The 10 Collection’, which featured a new 82 cm version of this iconic ‘Giant Hand’: \u003cem\u003eObject No.1 ‘The Red Hand’.\u003c\/em\u003e The hand became Bonaveri Décor’s brand icon; for this edit, ‘The Red Hand’ is now available in three iconic sizes, including a new giant version standing 2.2 metres tall. The hand was painted in \u003cem\u003e‘Bonaveri Red’,\u003c\/em\u003e a historic colour developed from the crest of Ferrara, the hometown of the Bonaveri Family. From that moment on, it became known as \u003cem\u003e‘The Red Hand’\u003c\/em\u003e.
