THE TRAFALGAR [ONE]
£0.00
Inspired by the ‘Fourth Plinth’ in Trafalgar Square, London, we applied the concept to our series of ‘Trafalgar’ podiums. We love the story behind the Fourth Plinth, as it was originally intended to hold an equestrian statue of William IV but remained empty due to a lack of funds. For over 150 years, its use was debated; finally, in 1998, the RSA approved the plinth for public art installations. It is now widely celebrated as one of the world’s most famous and dynamic public art commissions.
