The Pillar

A tall, prominent column stands in the centre of Piazza Ariostea in Ferrara; at approximately 21.2 metres, it supports a statue of the renowned Renaissance poet Ludovico Ariosto. We took inspiration from this column and created a minimalist pillar that complements the nature of the object it holds.
